The 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship will be played in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alta., from Dec. 26, 2020 to Jan 5, 2021. Canada’s National Junior Team will face a field of nine international entries, which will be determined by the results of the 2020 championship in the Czech Republic.

Edmonton will host Canada’s group in the preliminary round (10 games), two quarter-finals (including Canada if it qualifies), two semifinals and the bronze medal and gold medal games at the home of the Oilers.

The ENMAX Centrium, home of the Rebels in Red Deer, will host the other preliminary-round group (10 games), two quarter-finals and the relegation round (up to three games).

Every preliminary-round and medal-round game, including all Team Canada games, will be broadcast live on TSN and/or be available via live stream on the TSN app and TSN.ca (check local listings for broadcast information in your area).

Alberta will host up to 11 pre-tournament games ahead of the World Juniors, including a pair of Team Canada games in Red Deer.
