The 2020 IIHF Women’s World Championship has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus risk, but it will return to Halifax and Truro in 2021.

Q: Where is the 2020 IIHF Women’s World Championship taking place?
A: The event is being co-hosted at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, N.S., and the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro, N.S.

Q: How many countries participate in the tournament?
A: Ten.

Q: Where will Canada’s National Women’s Team play its games?
A: Canada’s National Women’s Team will play one pre-tournament game, four preliminary-round games and all medal round games (quarter-final, semifinal, medal game) in Halifax. It will also play one pre-tournament game in Truro.

Q: When does this tournament take place?
A: March 31-April 10, 2020.

Q: Who will play in which group?
A: Group A includes Canada, Finland, Russia, Switzerland and the United States. Group B includes the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Germany and Japan.

Q: What are the service charges?
A: Each package will be subject to a $12 service charge.

Q: What are my ticket delivery options?
A: Regular ticket stock ($10 per order) or a souvenir ticket booklet ($25 per package).

Q: What is a souvenir ticket booklet?
A: Printed tickets include images of past IIHF Women’s World Championships.

Q: When do I receive my tickets?
A: Tickets will be delivered a few weeks prior to the start of the event.

Q: Can I purchase my package in-person?
A: Yes, you can go to the Ticket Atlantic box office at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax or to the front desk at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro.

Q: Can I purchase my package over the phone?
A: Yes, you can call Ticket Atlantic at 902-451-1221.

Q: Are the package refundable?
A: No, the packages are non-refundable.

Q: When will single-game ticket be available?
