Today at National Men’s U18 Team summer camp (July 28)

WHT 5 – RED 3 (Intrasquad)

Matthew Savoie (St. Albert, Alta.) had a goal and an assist, while Charles-Edward Gravel (Lévis, Québec) and Domenic DiVicentiis (Bolton, Ont.) combined for 45 saves as White beat Red 5-3 in the opening intrasquad game Wednesday at Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team summer camp.

Nicholas Moldenhauer (Mississauga, Ont.) got White on the board in the first period, before Paul Ludwinski (Pickering, Ont.), Spencer Sova (Windsor, Ont.) and Conor Geekie (Strathclair, Man.) scored in the second to give it the lead for good.

Jorian Donovan (Richmond, Ont.), Antonin Verreault (Laval, Que.) and Sam Alfano (Cayuga, Ont.) provided the goals for Red, which finished with a 48-37 edge in shots.
