Facts and figures on the two teams facing off in the RBC Cup championship game, and on how 132 teams became two

The 2016-17 season comes to an end Sunday for the Canadian Junior Hockey League, with two teams – the host Cobourg Cougars and Brooks Bandits – remaining in the chase for the RBC Cup.

But how did those two teams, and the rest of the CJHL, get to the championship game? And how do the Cougars and Bandits match up?

261 – Days between the first regular-season game (Pembroke Lumber Kings vs. Cornwall Colts in the Central Canada Hockey League) on Sept. 3, 2016 and the RBC Cup final on Sunday.
