HOCKEY CANADA
Twenty-three players have been named to Canada’s National Women’s Development Team and will compete at the Women’s Euro Hockey Tour, Dec. 11-15 in Tampere, Finland.
Sarah Wozniewicz scored and Hannah Murphy made 33 saves, but Canada dropped the Development series finale 7-1 to the U.S.
Seventy players – 46 attending U18 selection camp and 24 for the development series – will take the ice in August.
Vicky Sunohara and Alison Domenico will lead Canada’s women’s U18 and development teams this season.
