2019 IIHF World Junior Championship

Register for World Juniors Skate Day

On December 1, British Columbia will come together in a truly Canadian way. Communities across the province will open their local arenas and outdoor rinks for a province-wide skating party to kick off the official countdown to the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship. People of all ages and abilities will be encouraged to come out to this celebration and REPRESENT their community, province and country.

After communities register below, the next step in being a host community for World Juniors Skate Day is creating a community task force. This committee should include members from the local minor hockey association, the local government and other applicable local stakeholders. It will be responsible for securing ice time and dignitaries, creating a strategy and schedule, and promoting the day.

Once your registration has been processed, you will be contacted by a 2019 World Juniors staff member.

Registrationn is now CLOSED.
