The Calgary Northstars were crowned 2003 Air Canada Cup champions on Sunday afternoon at the Sault Ste. Marie Memorial Gardens, with an exciting 5-1 win over the Collège Antoine-Girouard Gaulois.
The final proved to be a far different story then when the two same times faced off in the first game of the round robin portion of the 2003 Air Canada Cup. At that time, Collège Antoine-Girouard easily handled Calgary with the final scoring reading 7-0. » more

At the 2003 Air Canada Cup Awards Banquet on Friday in Sault Ste. Marie, the Championship Directorate announced all individual award winners for the 2003 National Midget Hockey Championship.

Air Canada Most Valuable Player: Ted Purcell – St. John’s (ATL)

Most Sportsmanlike: Justin St. Louis – Calgary (PAC)

Top Goaltender: Justin Mrazek – Yorkton (WEST)

Top Defenceman: Dustin Nehring – Yorkton (WEST)

Top Forward: Alexandre Imbeault – Collège Antoine-Girouard (QC)

Top Scorer: Mathieu Aubin – Collège Antoine-Girouard (QC)

Esso Most Dedicated Award/Scholarship: Marc-Andre Dorion - College Antoine-Girouard (QC)
