TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – NORTH BAY TRAPPERS The North Bay Trappers have their second GNML regular-season title in as many years, using the league’s best offence, and a 9-1 run in their final 10 games, to best the TELUS Cup host Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves by one point. GNML scoring champion Nick Davis was one of three Trappers to hit the 50-point mark (he had 56), with Jacob Peterson-Galema (53) and Cole Craft (50) right behind him in second and third, respectively. The Trappers also topped the league on the defensive side, helped by the excellent play of netminder Joel Rainville. He finished the season with four shutouts and posted a 2.44 goals-against average.
