Hockey Canada and the Dr. Tom Pashby Sports Safety Fund invites coaches, trainers, safety people, therapists,
team managers, parents, players (over the age of 16), physicians and medical professionals, to the Hockey
Canada Concussion Seminar on Saturday, December 12th, 2009.

The seminar will feature personal concussion stories as well as up-to-date information on the diagnosis,
treatment and return to play protocol. Other highlights include the following topics:
• Diagnosis, treatment and concussion management
• Return to play guidelines
• Psychological pressures to return to play by peers, parents and team officials
• Trainers perspective
• Mouth guards in hockey
• Protective equipment
• Interactive Workshops
This seminar is from 8:45am to 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided at no cost to the registered delegates thanks
to the generosity of Hockey Canada and the Dr. Tom Pashby Sports Safety Fund.
There is no registration fee to attend the seminar.
