Hockey Canada Training Centre (HCTC) Programs

Hockey Canada and WinSport have teamed up to offer High Performance hockey training for elite level players of all ages.

The Hockey Canada Training Center (HCTC) has all of your training needs completely covered. Programs designed for small group training (8:1 athlete to instructor ratio) are currently available. For information on 1:1 or team training sessions, please contact [email protected].

Programs Include:
In-Season Training – Maintenance, recovery and technique designed to keep athletes performing through the rigors of the season.  For Teams and Individuals.

Off-Season Training (April/May – Phase 1) – Develop the building blocks critical for hockey conditioning by building stamina and creating a solid base of aerobic and muscular endurance.  Improve overall stamina and recovery during training and competition.

Off-Season Training (June/July – Phase 2) – Develop muscle muss and strength for greater overall tolerance to high intensity training.

Pre-Season Training (July/August – Phase 3) – Develop speed in preparation for camps, tryouts and evaluations.  Focus on building and improving explosive power and get the body firing on all cylinders to show your true best.

Pre Camp Training (August/September – Phase 4) – 45 minute sessions designed to blast the body and get the muscles ready to show at their best during evaluations

Build strength, improve speed, raise your fitness level, develop increased athletic abilities, whatever your goal, the HCTC has a program designed to help you meet them and maximize your abilities moving forward.
