2011 Canada Winter Games

CANADA'S FINEST YOUNG FEMALE HOCKEY PLAYERS COMPETE
AT THE CANADA WINTER GAMES IN HALIFAX, N.S.

The Canada Winter Games are held every four years. The women’s hockey event is held at the Games in place of the National Women’s Under-18 Hockey Championship. The National Women’s Under-18 Championship is part of Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence and is held during non-Canada Winter Games years. The last National Women’s Under-18 Championship was held in November 2009 in Surrey, B.C.
