overtime as Russia advanced to the gold medal game for the first time since beating Ontario for the top prize
in 2000.
Evan Allen and Anthony Louis scored goals in the shootout and Thatcher Demko stopped both Swedish shooters
he faced as the Americans booked a spot in the gold medal game for the fifth time in the last six years.
Josh Morrissey scored the game-winner on a power play three minutes into the extra frame as Pacific
rebounded from giving up a two-goal third-period lead, claiming fifth with a win in an all-Canadian battle in

Bronson Beaton scored the game-tying and game-winning goals and Noah Zilbert added a pair of assists as
Atlantic finished its tournament with a victory, knocking off the Czechs in the seventh-place game in
Tecumseh.
Tim Bender and Leon Draisaitl had a goal and an assist each as the Germans erased a 3-0 deficit after one
period to claim ninth place and leave West as the first Canadian team to go without a win since Atlantic in
2001.
