Sean Monahan scored a pair of goals, including the winner 1:52 into overtime, as Ontario advanced to the
gold medal game for the fourth year in a row. Tournament all-star Daniel Altshuller made 24 saves in the
win.
Nicolas Kerdiles was the overtime hero, scoring 7:24 into the extra frame to give the U.S. the win in a
game it led 5-1 at one point. Morgan Rielly scored twice in the third for Pacific to draw the Canadians
even.
