Alex Kerfoot was the overtime hero, scoring 2:09 into the
extra frame to send Canada West to the gold medal game with a victory over Sweden. Aaron Hadley also scored
for West, which will appear in the final for the fifth time in six years.

Devin Shore scored a pair of goals to lead the offence as
Canada East ended the Americans' three-year reign as gold medallists with a win. Tylor Spink added a goal and
assist for East, which avenged its loss in last year's gold medal game.

Alexander Barabanov's goal midway through the second period stood up as the
game-winner as the Russians survived two third-period goals from Matej Zadrazil to hold on and take fifth
place, avenging their prelim loss to the Czechs.

Adam Tambellini scored the winner 2:01 into overtime as West erased three one-goal deficits to earn the
win and take the total-goal lead in the CJHL Prospects Games into Sunday's finale. Hometown boy Austin Plevy
