Brooks Bandits win 2013 RBC Cup

The Hockey Canada Skills Combine program is a new initiative by Hockey Canada that will allow young players to gauge their skills in a fun and challenging environment. Participants will take part in both on and off-ice testing.
Players will be tested using Hockey Canada’s National Skills Testing and Standards program. These tests include: 100’ Dash Forwards/Backwards, Agility Weave, and Agility Transition skate. These tests can be done throughout the season to measure player’s improvements over time.
For the off-ice tests, we will be using Nike’s SPARQ Testing program. This series of tests designed by Nike can be used to test athletes of all sports. Hockey Canada has used SPARQ testing at our national junior team summer camp to help with the identification of players for Team Canada. Participants will be able to use their results to generate their SPARQ testing rating at this event.
